REGN-COV2 Independent Data Monitoring Committee Recommends Holding Enrollment in Hospitalized Patients with High Oxygen Requirements and Continuing Enrollment in Patients with Low of No Oxygen Requirements
In an October 30th Press Release, Regeneron announced that it recently received the recommendation from the independent data monitoring committee (IDMC) to halt enrollment of patients requiring high flow oxygen or ventilation due to an “unfavorable risk/benefit profile” for its polyclonal antibody cocktail (REGN-COV2). The IDMC further recommended continuing enrollment in hospitalized patients either requiring no or low-flow oxygen.
